green20piggy20bank20and20moneyToday, I will share with you three quick ways that you can save money by going green! These are tips I acquired from reading  an article on http://www.thedailygreen.com.

1. Check out your local library for entertainment mediums such as magazines, CDs, DVDs, and books! It is advised that you cut down on purchasing mountains of such materials in order to save paper waste in landfills, plus saving yourself some bucks!

2. Use rechargeable batteries! This is self explanatory. The more you use rechargeable batteries, the less likely that you spend money on disposable ones.

3) Do you have a car? Did you know a clean air filter can improve gas mileage by as much as 10%, and can save you 28 cents a gallon? Not only that, poor alignment forces your engine to work harder (in addition to wearing out your tires), and this can reduce fuel economy by as much as 10%. Get a tune-up and replace that cracked gas cap to save even more.
