Campus Advantage was founded in 2003 by former Community Assistants in Austin, Texas. Entrepreneurially driven, the company has been built from the ground up by a talented staff and remains privately held to this day. We are proud of our many accomplishments achieved throughout the years.

2018

Adds 6 assets to the portfolio as part of a $200 million joint venture with a major state pension fund

Surpasses $1.5 billion in assets acquired

Establishes Learning and Development Department

Breaks ground on The Bridge on Forbes in Pittsburgh, PA, the second co-development project with Pinecrest

Acquires 19 communities in partnership with Saban Real Estate in a transaction valued at $508 million

Cumulatively raises more than $200,00 for American Cancer Society since 2012

Successfully sells a 10 property portfolio of CalSTRS assets

Achieves a record 48% returning resident ratio in its third-party managed properties

Breaks ground on The Knox in Knoxville, TN – a Campus Advantage development

Partners with the White House’s It’s On Us™ program

Forms $150 million joint venture with major state pension fund to invest in and operate student housing

Achieves unprecedented 46% returning resident ratio

Raises nearly $45,000 for Relay For Life and receives National Team Program Award from American Cancer Society
