Campus Pointe Adds 198 Units, 630 Beds to Company’s Property Portfolio

AUSTIN, Texas – Oct. 21, 2013 – Campus Advantage, a leading student housing company, is bringing its award-winning residence life programs and services to the students of Kent State University as it makes its first venture into the university’s student housing market with the acquisition of Campus Pointe.

Campus Pointe is a half-mile from the Kent State campus and includes 198 units and 630 beds in two-, three- and four-bedroom floor plans.

The property is 99 percent occupied, benefitting from a record university enrollment that has left on campus housing beyond capacity and some students being housed in temporary rooms upon move in.

Campus Pointe units feature private bathrooms for each bed, built-in desks in the bedrooms, full-sized washer/dryer and full kitchens. The property’s amenities include a heated swimming pool with outdoor grill, basketball and sand volleyball courts, a 24-hour fitness center, computer room, media lounge, game room and tanning bed.
