Campus Advantage started managing The Depot in Akron, Ohio and The Luxx in San Antonio, Texas on May 11, 2015. Campus Advantage’s consulting team worked with The NRP Group for both student housing projects during the initial stages of development by performing feasibility studies, as well as providing in-depth design consulting for their contemporary units and amenities. The Depot is located right across the street from the University of Akron, and has the capacity to house 624 students. The Luxx is 694 beds and serves the University of Texas at San Antonio. The property is known for its Vegas style swimming pool with a LUXXurious waterfall.
Both student housing properties are owned by The NRP Group and this management transition is a continuation of their relationship with Campus Advantage. Campus Advantage has managed Tobin Lofts in San Antonio for The NRP Group since 2012 and has experienced continued success at the asset, including reaching 100% occupancy last fall. “The NRP Group is excited that Campus Advantage, a leader in student housing, is bringing their expertise to two additional properties, the Depot in Akron and the Luxx.
